Fleet Studio v2 Overview
Next.js/Tailwind rebuild of the FleetStudio marketing site, built by Thanush Babu. Replicates the existing HTML site's visuals and interactions page-for-page while moving the stack to Next.js for SEO and maintainability.
What is Fleet Studio v2?
A statically-rendered Next.js App Router site that reproduces the legacy fleet-studio-site-html marketing site (home, about, contact, services, work, insights) with matching class names and legacy CSS, plus SEO groundwork (dynamic sitemap/robots, per-page metadata) the original static site didn't have.

Key Features
- Pages replicated 1:1: About, Contact, Services (AI Consulting, CTO-as-a-Service, Enterprise Modernization, Product Engineering, Strategic Advisory), Work (by industry), Insights (articles), and Freta/Freta Assessment - all matching the legacy HTML site's markup/classes and interactions.
- Dynamic SEO:
sitemap.jsandrobots.jsApp Router routes generatesitemap.xml/robots.txtfrom an env-configured site URL, replacing static files from the legacy site. - Per-page metadata: Every page exports its own
metadata(title/description) matching the original HTML<head>tags, required since pages are server components. - Componentization pass: Extracted a reusable
ServiceCardcomponent out of duplicated markup (the one deliberate exception to the "hardcode in pages" convention documented inAGENTS.md). - Branding: Brand logo, favicon, and hero-section CTA copy fixes.
- Docker deploy path:
Dockerfilefor containerized deploys. - Agent guardrails (
AGENTS.md,CLAUDE.md): Documents hard constraints for this repo - JavaScript-only, no client components on pages, no dynamic state, static forms only, no ad-hoc component extraction - since the whole site is intentionally hardcoded/static by design.
Tech Snapshot
| Layer | Choice |
|---|---|
| Framework | Next.js App Router (static export, force-static) |
| Language | JavaScript (TypeScript explicitly disallowed) |
| UI | Tailwind, @base-ui/react, lucide-react, react-hook-form + zod (forms are static/no submission by design) |
| Deploy | Docker |
| Default branch | main |
Forms render but don't submit, pages are server components with no client state, and components generally aren't extracted - see AGENTS.md before changing this pattern.
