Getting Started with FS Garage Score Card (BE)

Prerequisites​

  • PocketBase binary (~31MB; copy from teammate or download)
  • Local pb_data/ copy (ADR-005: work on local PocketBase only)
  • Access to TeamFleetStudio/fs-garage-base

Installation​

git clone https://github.com/TeamFleetStudio/fs-garage-base.git
cd fs-garage-base
  1. Place PocketBase binary in the project (per team instructions)
  2. Restore/copy pb_data/ for local DB, or run migrations fresh

Run​

Serve PocketBase on 127.0.0.1:8091:

./pocketbase serve --http=127.0.0.1:8091

Admin UI: http://127.0.0.1:8091/_/. Check metric_categories, metrics, and metric_entries exist under Collections before testing the Score Card frontend against this instance.

Branch workflow​

  • Work on operations
  • Open PR into dev-clone

Verification​

  • Admin UI loads and shows metric_categories, metrics, metric_entries collections
  • Migrations applied without error (pb_migrations/*_metric*.js)
  • Creating a category/metric/entry via Admin UI respects the Scorecard write rules
Testing writes

createRule/deleteRule/updateRule on all three Scorecard collections require the project owner or a ceo/c-suite/project-lead role - a plain member account can view but not write. Use an owner/role account when testing category/metric/entry creation, or writes will 403 even though reads succeed.
