Getting Started with FS Resume Parser Agent

Prerequisites

  • Python 3
  • MongoDB
  • AWS credentials/bucket (S3)
  • Optional but recommended: LibreOffice for DOCX->PDF
  • Access to the private repo

macOS LibreOffice

brew install --cask libreoffice

Installation

git clone https://github.com/TeamFleetStudio/fs-resume-parser-agent.git
cd fs-resume-parser-agent
pip install -r requirements.txt
cp resume_parser.config_sample.yaml resume_parser.config.yaml
# fill mongo_uri, jwt/gpt keys, aws block, etc.

Configure (sample keys)

From resume_parser.config_sample.yaml:

  • mongo_uri, db_name, collection names (candidates, descriptions, resumes, ...)
  • gpt_key, jwt_token_key, server_key
  • aws.api_key, aws.api_secret, aws.bucket_name, regions
  • pdf_engine_type, engine_type

Run

python app.py
# or the start command documented alongside app.py in the repo

Verification

  • Upload/parse a resume without crash
  • Fallback DOCX path works if LibreOffice missing
  • Mongo collections receive candidate/resume docs
