Getting Started with FS Automation (LinkedIn Lead Gen)

Prerequisites​

  • Python 3.10+
  • Playwright browsers
  • Valid LinkedIn session cookie (li_at) obtained for approved use
  • Access to TeamFleetStudio/FS-Automation

Installation​

git clone https://github.com/TeamFleetStudio/FS-Automation.git
cd FS-Automation
python3 -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
pip install -r requirements.txt
playwright install
cp env.example .env

Configure​

From env.example:

LINKEDIN_LI_AT=paste_your_li_at_cookie_here
HEADLESS=true
  • Local visible browser: HEADLESS=false
  • Server/Docker: HEADLESS=true

Also review config.py for runtime settings.

Run​

# typical entry - confirm in repo README / app.py
python app.py
# or specific scripts:
# python search_linkedin.py
# python send_connections.py

Docker:

docker build -t fs-automation .
docker run --env-file .env fs-automation
Cookies expire

Refresh LINKEDIN_LI_AT from Chrome DevTools > Application > Cookies > linkedin.com when sessions die.

Verification​

  • Login/session accepted
  • Search returns prospects
  • Connection/message scripts log without auth errors (automation.log)
