Claude GitHub Actions Plugin - Command Reference

There's no HTTP API here - the plugin's "interface" is its five slash commands, each defined by a markdown file under plugins/fleet-git-workflow/commands/.

Commands

CommandFileDescription
/new-branchcommands/new-branch.mdCreates a clean branch from dev/develop/development (auto-detected) or a specified parent
/feature-branchcommands/feature-branch.mdSyncs with the parent branch, creates feature/<kebab-case-description>, and pushes to remote
/commitcommands/commit.mdAuto-stages files and generates a conventional commit message
/stage-prcommands/stage-pr.mdCommits, pushes, and raises a PR from the current branch to dev, checking for conflicts
/prod-prcommands/prod-pr.mdRaises a release PR from dev to main, listing merges included and checking for conflicts

Example usage

/commit "fixed header styling"
/feature-branch "auth-logic"
/stage-pr

Rules enforced across commands

  • Never create a branch without confirming the parent first
  • Never force-push or use destructive git flags
  • Warn (don't silently overwrite) if a target branch already exists
Prerequisites

Requires a Claude Code Pro/Team account with GitHub connected in Claude Settings, and the fleet-git-workflow plugin installed in the target project (/plugin install fleet-git-workflow --project).
